I've begun (a little late) the #inktober challenge!
And it's taught me something. I kind of already knew this but it's been reconfirmed. I struggle to draw quickly and draw freely. I am the type of artist who plans and sketches until every line is perfectly straight and the space is symmetrically filled and everything is in order. I really struggle to loosely let my pencil take charge and be relaxed with sketching. I rarely just sit and sketch and it's not good!
Sketching is a real talent, to fill a page without thinking too much. I have realised I need to do a lot more of it and be more confident with it!
The #inktober challenge will help me to just go for it, not think too much and whip out something small and creative. And then i'll spend some quality time sketching away as often as possible.
